The Edgewater Grille

The Edgewater Grille features a “kitschy” decor resplendent with a sailboat hanging from the ceiling.  In addition there is a full bar and live entertainment.

Not only do they have the best hamburger in Indiana we are doubly treated by having our good friend Peggy Pinder wait on us. We have appreciated Peggy’s service for many years including her days at Pinder’s Restaurant, a dining experience we miss to this day.

Add this to the fact that they have brought back Herb(I apologize that I do not recall his last name) to greet us and attend to our every request in his friendly way, and you have the perfect dining experience. We thank Dan for having the foresight to bring Herb back.

Herb is a joke. If you don’t want to slip him $20 expect to wait a long time for a table. This is a small town, not Chicago.

My above rating is acually a 1*, solely because of the way Herb treated us.
